Over 1,500 participants, including representatives of the Tour Operating and Aviation divisions, took part in Casablanca connACTION, Welcome Travel Group's biggest event dedicated to tourism distribution, held from 4 to 7 April at The View Bouznika, in Morocco.

A strategic opportunity to discuss with the trade on evolution scenarios, innovative tools and new models of relations with the traveller.

Opening the proceedings, Adriano Apicella, CEO of Welcome Travel Group, reiterated the importance of collaboration between affiliated agencies, shareholders and business partners, emphasising how trust and synergy are key elements in optimising investments and results.

🎤 Tour Operating, engine of growth

Pier Ezhaya, General Manager Tour Operating Alpitour World, highlighted the centrality of the sector, which today generates more than one third of the Group's EBITDA, with 740 thousand guaranteed airline seats on packages and new product lines such as Travelling. He also called for overcoming the logic of the traditional catalogue to develop more up-to-date tools in line with new purchasing habits.

🎤 Innovation and new services

Alessandro Seghi, Commercial Director Tour Operating Alpitour World, presented TOP BOOKING METEO, an insurance cover against bad weather, and underlined the growth of the Eden Viaggi brand, with bookings up sharply (+46%).

✈️ Neos and the evolution of the airline industry

Carlo Stradiotti, CEO of Neos, illustrated the challenges of the aviation sector, with an expanding fleet and an expected turnover of 860 million euros in 2025. Aldo Sarnataro, Commercial Director of Neos, then stressed the need for a more flexible and customised offer for an increasingly customer-oriented market.
