PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AND GROWTH: THE INGREDIENTS OF THE ALPITOUR WORLD CHEF ACADEMY

Summer is coming and once again we are getting ready for the season that is, par excellence, the season of journey. Journey to be intended as an all-round discovery: of places, cultures and flavors.
Those offered by the table are undoubtedly part of the great pleasures of an Alpitour World holiday: the taste of rediscovering Italian tradition anywhere in the world, the surprise of letting oneself being tempted by new recipes, the beauty of being pampered by dishes prepared with great care and attention to detail.

And if the pursuit of culinary excellence is part of the Group's DNA, so is the drive to invest in the future, in professional training and growth: this is the reason why, as we prepare for the 2023 summer season, we support new cuisine talents, becoming an active part of a high-level professional course that is aimed at young people who pursue a career as a chef and offering them the concrete opportunity to join the Alpitour World family.

The project is realized in partnership with CFP Zanardelli, a center with over 50 years of experience that offers three-years and four-years training courses for young people, and with Brigata di Goa, a company that provides support to entities operating in the hospitality and restaurant industry.

After an initial theoretical training, thanks to the participation of Alpitour World the aspiring chefs will be given the possibility to carry out the practical module of the course into the kitchens of the VOIhotels facilities and resorts, marketed by Alpitour and Bravo, where they will be supervised by experienced teachers. This is an important opportunity, which will allow them not only to learn the main culinary techniques, but also to improve their general skills and develop autonomy and awareness, fundamental skills to work in a kitchen team.

The course, at the end of which the Lombardy region will issue a certificate to participants, is in fact aimed at guaranteeing them a concrete professional insertion: the first step of a journey of continuous training in the Group’s world.
