SHARING: beyond business strategies there is closeness to communities

Why 'share' instead of present, tell, communicate? Because a roadshow can no longer be just product training, however elegant and measured: this year the 35 meetings that covered the whole of Italy, involving over 1,500 tourism distribution professionals, changed skin.

Just as, when we travel, we seek authentic experiences, when we meet for work we increasingly feel the need to break out of the schemes to which we are historically accustomed and which are often formal and rigid. In order to make a profound change, Alpitour chose different venues from the usual, because the 2024 roadshow took place entirely in spaces made available by associations and realities committed to social work. "A choice to stay close to those who are concretely committed to others and may need visibility and support." Says Alessandro Seghi, Commercial Director of the Tour Operating division.

The meetings focused on sharing crucial content for travel agents, including product news, commercial strategies, organisation, technology and marketing for the coming months. The setting in places where solidarity and helping others is a priority, added an element of interest and proximity to the heart of the work, promoting connection between people and emphasising the importance of empathy in the tourism sector.
