The drive for innovation, supported by our attention for workers: it is mainly thanks to this combination of elements that we are in World’s Best Employers 2022, the ranking realized by Forbes, identifying every year the companies that stand out for the quality of the work environment they offer to employees.
The American magazine, an institution in the business world, collaborated with the market analysis specialized company Statista to realize a ranking including 800 companies: although there was certainly no shortage of competitors, our Group won a place in the top 300 globally and is in eighth place among the 22 Italians who made it into the rankings.
Who knows a company better than its workers? That’s why the ranking has been realized by them: 150,000 part-time and full-time employees in 57 different countries have been asked if they would recommend their workplace to friends and family and to give their opinion on other companies operating in the same industry.
Social impact and image, commitment to social responsibility, opportunities for talent development and attention to gender equality were evaluated for each company, on the basis of the obtained answers.
To us, this is a step forward in an important journey: the journey we are making together as a Group.
As stated by Christian Catiello, Managing Director Organization of Alpitour World, this recognition rewards the value of the investments we made in the last years. 
We worked to improve the quality of our work locations and defined a «a path in which people stay at the center, with training programs aimed at supporting job rotation, that is the possibility, where this is a need or an aspiration, to change roles within the company. »
A scenario that includes all the energies we are investing in supporting young people, with programs that aim to hire recent graduates and under 35 to be placed within growth paths that reward talent and merit, and with great attention to the tourist services for young people and their dynamics, as shown by the successful experience of our startup Utravel.
The digital age involves the world of tourism and travel too and a long-term vision such as the one we are pursuing is crucial: to support it – protecting the welfare and aspirations of those who work with us – is undoubtedly a project that will guide us in the upcoming years.
