PALA ALPITOUR: WHEN WE ARE NOT TRAVELLING AROUND THE WORLD, THE WORLD COMES TO OUR HOUSE

It’s the largest indoor arena in Italy, it carries our name and it will do so for a great part of the 2023: we’re talking about the Turin’s Pala Alpitour, the huge facility created for the 20th Winter Olympic Games in 2006, which is today one of the liveliest places of the city and a reference point for the world of live events: concerts, shows, sports tournaments, fairs and much more take place inside this building, attracting a large national and international audience in Turin every year.

For several years Alpitour has been activating a collaboration agreement with Parcolimpico Srl, the company set up to take over the legacy of the 2006 Winter Games, that today manages the facility: thanks to the renewal of the partnership our brand, which represents the “root” of the entire Group, will keep supporting Turin’s liveliest soul, linking its name and image to one of the symbols of the city of the third millennium and to the great events it will host in the coming months.

The main shareholder of the company Parcolimpico Srl is Live Nation, world leader in the production and organization of concerts and shows: the Pala Alpitour will once again host a season full of music, but there will also be space for sporting thrills.

The naming sponsorship agreement allows our brand to welcome the audience into the arena, linking its name to a real architectural jewel: a huge facility characterized by a great spatial flexibility which makes it suitable for different kinds of events, by exceptional acoustics and by high impact aesthetics designed by two important names on the architecture scenario, Arata Isozaki and Pier Paolo Maggiora. Alpitour puts its name on the sign of the building, which makes the home of big events in Turin immediately recognizable, and together with Francorosso it takes care of the interior spaces set-up, obtaining at the same time an important mediatic presence linked to the scheduled events.

The investment confirms our Group’s desire to support the city, not only as the result of an historical connection but also by virtue of its tourist attractiveness: Turin continues to summon travellers from all over Italy and beyond, thanks to its beauty but also thanks to a calendar of cultural, sporting and entertainment events getting richer and richer every year. It is precisely this lively and dynamic Turin that the Group wants to support, with the sponsorship of the Pala Alpitour as well as with other initiatives already introduced: for example, the collaboration with which we will contribute to the renovation of the Museo Egizio, one of the most important museums of the city and of the entire Italian panorama.
