Nico Acampora, founder of the PizzAut project set up to ensure greater inclusion in the world of work for young people on the autism spectrum, accompanied a delegation of young people to New York to attend the 16th Annual Conference of States Parties to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The trip for the boys and their families was also made possible thanks to the collaboration of Neos for flights and Turisanda1924 for ground services.
While Nico Acampora will give a lecture on the value of social inclusion from a human, economic, social and political point of view, the youngsters will prepare the pizza they have christened ‘the best pizza in the known galaxy’.
This is an important occasion for the PizzAut project, for the young people working on it and for their families, and Alpitour World is delighted to be able to make its contribution. “Being on the road, in fact,” says President Gabriele Burgio, “means giving everyone the chance to discover the world, to learn about it and to experience it by being fully part of it.”
This trip is the first step of a broader collaboration of the Group with PizzAut; in fact, Alpitour World's objective is to create other opportunities to give space and opportunities to projects of this kind.
