Alpitour World's growth and development plan continues with the expansion of the prestigious VRetreats collection, a brand of the Group's hôtellerie division that includes a selection of historic residences and palaces in well-known Italian locations.
A strategic business for the Group’s incoming division that aims at positioning itself with its own brands (VOIhotel and VRetreats) among the most promising hôtellerie businesses in Italy. A planning philosophy that gives prestige and once again highlights the far-sightedness of a project Alpitour World believes and invests in.
Founded in 2021, VRetreats has implemented a strategic acquisition plan, which has led it to expand its initial collection of three facilities to the current nine in just two years.
The total investment of 24 million Eur for the new acquisitions underlines the importance of the project, which aims to further expand the range by the end of the year.
VRetreats' results in 2022 were astonishing with more than 33 million Eur turnover - with the new entrants the goal will be to exceed 57 M Eur as well as reach 20 M Eur EBITDA in 2023.
Five new VRetreats facilities join the four VRetreats already in the collection, which has always been devoted to lovers of art, history and culture:
the Palazzo Sant'Anna in Lecce, a diffuse hotel in the city's historic centre;
the Cala Cuncheddi in Olbia, overlooking the beach of the same name;
the Hotel Roma in Siracusa, which enriches the Sicilian proposals by joining the Mazzarò Sea Palace and Atlantis Bay in Taormina;
the Tornabuoni in Florence, which, together with the Ca' di Dio in Venice and the Donna Camilla Savelli in Rome, expands the range of historic facilities in Italy's major art cities;
the Cervino in Cervinia, which diversifies the offer towards a new territory in the heart of the Alps.
The new acquisitions play an essential role in the positioning of the brand and of the entire Group, which can enrich and differentiate its offer and attend various tourist circuits (sea, mountains and cities of art) through its prestigious hôtellerie division.
