There are no boundaries, only infinite emotions.
To discover the world, feel it, know it, live it.
To be a part of it.
Being on a journey means giving everyone the chance to discover the world. And that is what we strive to do through projects like Barriers Free, to welcome travelers with mobility difficulties in tested facilities.
THE BEAUTY OF THE WORLD FOR EVERYONE
It's 2010 when Alpitour, Bravo e Francorosso create a project related to accessibility that, on one hand, addresses the needs of customers with motor and/or sensory disabilities and, on the other hand, assesses the usability of services available in the facilities.
The philosophy is to recognize that there is no motor disability identical to another, as each person is unique.
Starting from this simple principle, in-depth content is created, not to certify the facilities but to enable the customer to understand the opportunities for mobility within the hotels.
HANDY SUPERABILE
The project, named "Accessible Holidays – Barriers Free", is implemented in collaboration with Handy Superabile, an association that, for many years, has worked with Institutions and Alpitour World to remove cultural barriers and enhance the level of accessibility in the tourism offering, making vacations increasingly accessible to everyone.
With the support of the Group, Handy Superabile experts have personally visited over 50 hotels over the years, describing their accessibility features in as many fact sheets.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT VACATION
With our support, Handy Superabile personally verified more than 50 facilities and created as many fact sheets detailing all stages of the journey (for example, disembarking from the plane, means of transfer to the hotel, etc.), in addition to the architectural features of the areas that make up the tourist facilities such as rooms, restaurants, bars, pools, beaches, sports facilities, etc.
In addition to textual content, each sheet is accompanied by about 200 photos, allowing not only reading but also visually assessing the features of the hotels.
In this way, customers with disabilities do not have to rely on others' judgments but can, independently and before booking, understand all the details and determine if the facility allows for the most suitable vacation.
INFORMATION AND ADVICE
Customers can access the fact sheets through the website alpitour.it or by requesting information from their Travel Agency.
In the event that further advice is needed, within Alpitour World, a team of specifically trained individuals has been created, who are intimately familiar with all the facilities within the scope of the Barriers Free project.

THE ONLY THING LEFT IS TO DEPART
To allow customers with motor and sensory disabilities to fully experience their holiday, the verified facilities are located in the most sought-after destinations.
Therefore, you will find options overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, such as Italy, Greece, Spain and Tunisia or in more exotic locations like Mexico, Dominican Republic, Madagascar, Egypt and Oman.
