The Travel Agencies area, Welcome Travel Group, is a 50/50 joint venture between
Alpitour World and Costa Crociere. It consists of a network of owned or affiliated travel
agencies resulting from the merger of Welcome Travel Group and Geo Travel Network in 2021.
It is the leading distributor in Italy, thanks to a country-wide presence with 2,400
travel agencies representing around one third of the total in Italy. The network is a
benchmark for travel and holidays for more than 1 million customers each year,
but also for tour operators, companies operating in the world of transport and tourist
services, offering packages, hotel bookings, cruises to group travel, air, sea and
rail tickets, as well as ancillary services such as car rental and parking.
